Lisa Raposa

Based in Montréal, Lisa Raposa is co-director of the new piano lessons program at Saint Mark’s Anglican Church in Dorval, Québec and a member of the Raposa & Millar Piano Duo. This coming June she will return to her home state of Rhode Island to perform in the Music on the Hill concert series as piano soloist and accompanist.

Ms. Raposa possesses a rich knowledge of the piano vocal and chamber music literatures. She has performed with singers and instrumentalists of all ages and levels including such renowned performers as Marilyn Cronin, James Gourlay, and Charles Treger. In 2010, she earned the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Accompanying and Chamber Music at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. Her teachers have included Jean BarrArlene Kies, JoAnn Mello, Estela Olevsky, and Nelita True.
